About Us.

AVA Media Group is a video production company based in New York City.
Since its foundation in 2002, the company has been specializing in TV news and feature stories production, breaking news coverage, interviews with newsmakers and celebrities, and documentary making.
While focused mostly on providing video content for major Russian speaking TV outlets, AVA Media Group is also offering translation services, video editing, on-location filming, pre- and post-production help, and both English and Russian subtitling.

Voice of America

Voice of America, funded by the U.S. Congress, is the largest international American broadcast network. VOA provides coverage in 40+ languages, broadcast via satellite and cable television, radio and the Internet. VOA has 16 bureaus throughout the world, including New York, Beijing, London, Seoul, Moscow, Kabul, and others. Its weekly audience is estimated at 275 million people.

RTVi

RTVi is a global Russian-language television network, with studios based in New York City (US), Moscow (Russia), Tel-Aviv (Israel), Berlin (Germany), Riga (Latvia), and bureaus in Washington, DC (US), Kiev (Ukraine), Tbilisi (Georgia), Yerevan (Armenia) and Chisinau (Moldova). Its audience coverage reaches 30 million people around the world.

NTV Channel

NTV is one of the three global Russian broadcasting networks, with over 130 million viewers in Russia and countries of the former Soviet Union, as well as Western and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, the United States, Canada, Israel, Australia, New Zealand, and Oceania. Since its founding in 1993, NTV has been a major national media outlet, producing high-rated news shows, original TV series, and programs on music, culture, and society.

Russian Culturе Channel

The national state channel Culture was founded in August 1997 (renamed Russia-Culture in 2010). The channel’s programs cover the most important cultural events in Russia and abroad, both current and historic. The channel collaborates with the world’s largest channels, including BBC, RAI and Discovery, and channels ARTE (France), ZDF (Germany), PBS (US), and ORF (Austria).Since 2000, Russia-Culture is a permanent member of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU).

Studio Namedni

Studio Namedni, founded in 1998, has released over 140 films, including: Russia in Bloom (2013), the trilogy Russian Jews (2016-2017), Eye of God (2012), Zworykin-Muromets (2010), and Gambit: On Site of the Events (2005). Films produced by Studio Namedni have sustained critical acclaim and received national awards, such as the TEFI Award (the Russian equivalent of the Emmy, 2010), the Laurel Branch Award (2010, 2014) and the Russian Union of Journalists Award (2010).

Brooklyn Public Library

Brooklyn Public Library is the fifth largest public library system in the United States. In the 2009 fiscal year, the Brooklyn Public Library had the highest program attendance of any public library system in the United States. The collection holds more than 4 million physical items and 700,000 digital materials. In 2016, the library also provided 2.2 million computer sessions on 1,400 devices.
